Notes on this Collection

At the onset of this collection, it is mid-October, 2009, and I am living in Tel Rumeida, H2 Hebron, West Bank. I've been living here for the past year, and I am now 28 years old. I moved down here to pursue an internet-based video project called HEB2. I had been working on it for the previous year and a half before I realized it was impossible to do so from Jerusalem. I took advantage of the circumstances that let me live here as a guest of my friend and colleague, Issa Amro. I moved down to the house he'd rented beside the settlement. It's been a year already and it will surely be another year.

The organizing principle is medium - photographs, videos, texts, etc. - each in their own place. There is no strict principle of organization. Some pieces are dated, some are not. Some are recent, some are extracts from the summer. The latter I display here with a great deal of nostalgic residue. The autumn feels far duller.
