First train ride, an olive grove en route to Valdepeñas.
I am on a business trip, a series of meetings and presentations and interviews on radio and TV in Castilla la Mancha and Valencia and Madrid. I should confess I am writing this weeks later and that while I was in Spain I mostly shot views from a moving train because that is when I was most introspective and when I remembered to film. I've cut down most of these but kept a few images for metaphoric purposes. If you become bored you can wait because five days later I am a tourist in Berlin.
The trip starts fine and I try to really see things and take interest in what I'm here to do. I don't know what that is exactly, I haven't been given any concrete information on my itinerary or who I will meet. I don't know what they expect me to talk about, if they know what it is that I do or if they even care.
Shut up, stare out the window, everything is fine.
